About Busan

Busan, a bustling city of approximately 3.4 million residents, is located on the southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula. The size of Busan is 770.07km² which is only 0.8% of the whole landmass of the Korean Peninsula. The natural environment of Busan is a harmonious relationship of mountains, rivers and sea. Its geography includes a coastline featuring superb beaches and scenic cliffs, mountains which provide excellent hiking and extraordinary views with hot springs scattered throughout the city. Busan enjoys four distinct seasons and a temperate climate that never gets too hot or too cold.

Haeundae Blue Line Park
Haeundae Blueline Park is a core tourist facility in the Haeundae Special Tourist Zone of Busan as an international tourist city, which was built in an eco-friendly redevelopment of the old railway facility of the East Sea South Line.More Blueline Park operating Haeundae Beach Train and Haeundae Sky Capsule along the beautiful coastal scenery along a 4.8 km section from Haeundae Mipo through Cheongsapo to Songjeong. If you follow the Haeundae Dalmaji Hill toward Songjeong, you can see Cheongsapo on the lower right.More Cheongsapo is famous for producing very high quality seaweed, and the sunrise here is already well-known for its beauty. There is a white and red twin port that blends with the breakwater, which is good for creating "life pictures" anywhere. Oryuk Islands
Oryuk Island is a six-rock island that rises amid strong waves off the coast of Yongho-dong.More Oryuk Island was a small peninsula connected to land until 120,000 years ago, but it is estimated that it was formed separately from land due to erosion caused by strong waves over the years. Samrak Ecological Park
Samrak Ecological Park is a park with a wide range of natural grasslands such as reeds and lotus wetlands.More You can see cherry blossoms in spring, Ludbekia in summer and cosmos in fall. It's good for walking and for cycling around because it has bike paths for bicycles. It is also used as a natural learning center for children and adolescents as it has an aquatic botanical garden, a flower changpo complex, a mulberry bird colony, and a rice paddy experience center. Temporary Capital Memorial Hall
In 1950, when the Korean War broke out, the capital was relocated and Busan became the temporary capital. (1950-1953) More At that time, President Rhee Syng-man used the governor's office in South Gyeongsang Province, which was located in Busan, as the presidential residence, and served as a state guest. It is now decorated as a temporary capital memorial hall, displaying relics and various photographic materials used by the president. It shows the life of refugees and the reality of the Korean economy at that time, including models of trains traveling between Seoul and Busan, letters of condolences from the father who sent his son to the battlefield, and images of evacuation schools. Gamcheon Culture Village

Songdo Beach
